Sylvia is a former Math teacher who took up pottery after she retired. She is sorry to have waited so long, but now she can play with mud all day and still do some teaching. Her newest interest is making unique adult pottery puzzles. She is always looking for new ideas.

Sally has been doing pottery for over 20 years. She loves making pottery on the wheel, but has recently fallen in love with hand building. Nothing is too complicated to attempt and she makes everything from plates, large bowls and all types of functional pottery to piggy banks, masks, and unique Christmas ornaments.

Together Sally and Sylvia own Mainstreet Mud Pottery Studio in Devon, AB. They offer series of classes for adults and kids as well as evening or weekend workshops for those who are looking to try a project.
