PROOF OF VACCINATIONS
Your dog’s vaccinations MUST BE up-to-date for the safety of your dog and the others attending. All vaccinations must be given at least 10 days prior to attending the class to ensure proper immunization.
Please email a PDF version of your dog’s vaccination certificates to cwvaccinations@gmail.com prior to first class (no booklets)
Vaccinations Required:
DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo, Para influenza)
Rabies
Bordetella (Kennel Cough) – recommended, but not mandatory
EQUIPMENT RECOMMENDED
All equipment needed for training will be discussed in the first class. Absolutely NO retractable leashes in class. If your dog is aggressive, a muzzle is required.
FOR YOUR PROTECTION
Leave valuables at home or locked in your car. We will not always be in the same area. We are not responsible for anything that goes missing.
COVID-19
Everyone in your household is welcome to come to training, although due to Covid-19 small kids are no longer permitted in the training area. If you have older children that would like to participate, please discuss with Christine prior to class. We will Social Distance as much as possible, and hand sanitizer will be provided at the door. If there are any Covid-19 restrictions, they will be emailed to you before the first class. If you or anyone in your house is sick, please stay home.
DRESS FOR THE WEATHER & CLASS LOCATION
We recommend shoes with good support. Example: running shoes and hiking books. Please do not wear open toed footwear. Our training location in St. Albert is upstairs with no wheelchair access. If this is an issue please look at classes in Devon, as that location is wheelchair accessible.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We require two weeks’ notice prior to the first class in order for you to receive full credit towards a future class. A 50% credit will be issued for cancellations with less than two weeks’ notice if your space cannot be filled by another client. If another client can fill the empty space, then full credit will be applied to a future class
MISSING CLASSES
If for any reason you miss a class, classes CANNOT be made up at a later date and NO refund will be issued. Missed homework will be handed out at the following class. Missing more than one class will result in class failure. Private lessons can be booked to complete the course.
WAIVER
In order to participate in training you will need to complete a waiver. This link will be emailed to you prior to class.
