About the event
You don't need to be a dog owner to attend - you just have to be a dog lover!
Musical guests include Kat Danser, Paul Woida, Ann Vriend and many more talented Alberta artists. Enjoy food from Northern Chicken, Prairie Catering and Sandwich & Sons as well as craft beers, wine and healthy treats for your furry friend.
To launch the festival at 11:30 AM we will be attempting to set a NEW WORLD RECORD FOR THE BIGGEST EVER OUTDOOR DOGA (DOG YOGA) CLASS. (The Doga class is free but does not include the rest of the festival. You must register for the free doga class through the ticket link.) If we break the current world record of 270 Doga participants everyone will receive a commemorative gift.
The main stage will also feature great dog training advice from professionally led workshops throughout the day. Shop unique dog vendors and enjoy free samples, toy testing, treat making and more. There will be great prizes for best dressed dog, best owner look alike and most unique dog between 1-3 PM.
This event is all ages and children 14 and under are free. Like life with dogs we are a"rain or shine" event so bring your blankets, lawn chairs. leashes, and appropriate outdoor attire. Only well behaved dogs please. There is plenty of free onsite parking.
First 500 ticket purchasers receive doggie swag bags at the event! Space is limited so don't wait to get your tickets. Use twitter @dog_festival or Instagram @dogcityfestyeg to share a pic of your excited pup looking forward to Dog City Fest and you will be entered to win VIP Clubhouse Access Passes.
This is an important fundraiser for Wellspring Edmonton Cancer Patient Support Programs. Thank you for supporting this great cause.
